ACORN COTTAGE offers all year round, self catering accommodation for two people in the beautiful Towy Valley in Carmarthenshire, which is described as the “Garden of Wales”.

The cottage is linked to the owner’s property, situated down a private lane and backed by countryside in the village of Pontargothi, 7 miles east of the historic county town of Carmarthen and about 8 miles west of the charming little rural town of Llandeilo. It is ideally situated for touring The Brecon Beacons National Park to the North, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to the West,

and the Gower Peninsular to the East.

There are a number of excellant restaurants in the vicinity including Y Polyn, The Halfway, Cresselly Arms, Salutation, and The Fig Tree.

The cottage is conveniently placed for many of the premier tourist attractions in West Wales such as The National Botanical Gardens, Aberglasney House and Gardens, the new FfosLas Racecourse, Dolau Cothi Gold Mines, and also the nearby Dinefwr Park with its famous castle, country house and gardens, just outside Llandeilo.
